Elevator Pitch Contest

Add context of EPC
Involved as a visual communication designer to lead the campaign for
the EPC, I was assigned the role to develop a cohesive visual brand,
campaign material and event collateral.
While the contest’s goal was to incubate innovation, understanding the ‘audience’ was key. I decided to follow a minimal style of design language to appeal to the young entrepreneurs.
Short, focused & bold content was used across all the platforms
to get the message through in a short time. The colors chosen were plain,
but bold and bright to overlay the visual - a high-resolution photograph.
Flat but layered elements without any ornamentation were used to bring
the theme into focus. This was done by giving the use of typography
particular importance to emphasise key messages and to draw attention
to the imagery. To increase the CTA (call to action) the tool of whitespace
was put in use along with using oversized visual with respect to the type.
All these guidelines were followed across print and web media. Moreover, while designing the website, the pages were kept minimal and all excess elements were stripped out of the visual flow for streamlined navigation.
At Sight and Life, I have designed 6 of the 7 contests organised.
